Build your stranded colorwork skills in this three hour workshop while knitting the First Colorwork Cowl by Jared Flood.  Jody will teach you the best way to knit with two colors across a row, how to maintain tension properly, and explain color dominance.

Whether you have always been drawn to the beautiful fabric created with stranded colorwork, or are eager to improve your understanding of this skill, this workshop will give you the confidence to grow your knitting repertoire.

Skill level: MUST be able to cast on, knit and purl in the round, decrease and cast off.

YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO CAST ON AND WORK THE RIBBING BEFORE CLASS.

Yarn - 3 skeins of worsted weight yarn in contrasting colors

RIBBING INSTRUCTIONS

Repeat the last round, establishing 1x1 ribbing, until work measures 2”/5 cm from cast-on edge.
