Socks are the ultimate portable project and cozy accessory!
In this 4 session series, we will go through each step in the DK Weight Vanilla Sock pattern from Crazy Sock Lady Designs.
We will learn the top-down, flap and gusset heel method of sock construction, for well-fitting and sturdy socks you are sure to love.
This pattern is written for a single strand of DK weight yarn. If you're feeling bold, you can experiment with marling by holding two strands of fingering weight yarn together. If you're feeling extra-luxurious, you can even hold a strand of lace-weight suri or mohair with a strand of fingering weight yarn for ULTIMATE FANCY HOUSE SOCKS.
Skill level:
MUST be able to cast on, knit and purl both flat and in the round, decrease and cast off.
Familiarity with using DPNs or magic loop for small circumference knitting is strongly encouraged,
Materials:
Size US 3 needles in 32" or 40" length for magic loop or size US 3 DPNs
100g DK weight yarn
