Build your stranded colorwork skills in this 4 session series.
Play with color and repetition while you knit the First Colorwork Cowl by Jared Flood. Nancy will teach you the best way to knit with two colors across a row, how to maintain tension properly, and work with color dominance.
Whether you have always been drawn to the beautiful fabric created with stranded colorwork, or are eager to improve your understanding of this skill, this workshop will give you the confidence to grow your knitting repertoire.

Materials:
Needles - US 5 & US 8 16” and 24" circular needlesRibbing Instructions:
With smaller circular needle and Color 1, cast on
126 stitches using your preferred method and a relaxed tension. Join to work in the round (being careful not to twist your ring of stitches) and place a marker to indicate Beginning of Round (BOR).
Ribbing Round: With Color 1, *knit 1, purl 1; repeat from * to end.
Repeat the last round, establishing 1x1 ribbing, until work measures 2”/5 cm from cast-on edge.
