Build your stranded colorwork skills in this 3 session series.

Make an adorable, wooly accessory with Ovis Hat by Caitlin Hunter. Nancy will teach you the best way to knit with two colors across a row, maintain tension properly, and work with color dominance.

Whether you have always been drawn to the beautiful fabric created with stranded colorwork, or are eager to improve your understanding of this skill, this series will give you the confidence to grow your knitting repertoire.

Skill level:

MUST be able to cast on, knit and purl in the round, and decrease.
MUST have experience knitting a hat.

YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO CAST ON AND WORK THE RIBBING BEFORE CLASS.

For ribbing instructions, please purchase the pattern online or in the shop.

Materials:

Needles - US 5 & US 7 16” circular needles and US 7 DPNs
Yarn - 2 contrasting colors of heavy DK or light worsted weight yarn
Lalland, Lore, and  Rios are all great options.

Any supplies purchased from The Local Yarn Store for use in this class will be discounted 15%.
