Do you LOVE the look of fair isle knitting, but can't imagine how to get started? Have you felt intimidated by all those "floats" you need to catch along the way? Stranded color work is great way to bring more wow to your knitting, while using up those yarn bits you can't bear to part with.
Following the Basic Doodle Cowl pattern by Jamie Lomax, Jody will guide you through provisional cast on, knitting with two colors on each row, keeping proper tension in your floats, reading a chart and grafting with Kitchener stitch.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR HOMEWORK ASSIGNED. EACH CLASS WILL COVER A NEW SKILL AND COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT WILL DEPEND ON THE KNITTING YOU DO INDEPENDENTLY.
Skill level: MUST be able to cast on, knit in the round and cast off.

Any supplies purchased from The Local Yarn Store for use in this class will be discounted 10%.
